ASSEMBLY
Whether used as contemporary shop handrail fittings, disabled
guard rails or domestic stairway balustrades, our versatile
DIY stainless steel handrail systems add style and distinction
to any commercial or domestic environment. Designed for
a quick, easy fit, using simple yet innovative engineering
principles, installation couldn't be easier; no cutting
or welding required.
SAFE, STRAIGHTFORWARD, WELD-FREE
INSTALLATION
• Clean, straight-cut stainless
steel tube
• Modular push-fit fittings that fit internally into
the rail
• Aerobic bonding technology (industrial grade high
strength retainer)
FIVE EASY STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR
DIY PROJECT:
• Apply the retaining compound
(glue or adhesive) to the railing fittings
• Push the tube and fittings together
• Adjust to correct alignment
• Retaining compound will start to bond in approx
10mins at room temperature
• Drill and screw to walls, floors and decks
SCREW CONNECTIONS:
Several stainless steel components are fitted to pre-drilled
tube using 4mm and 8mm machine screws. A strong and safe
connection is achieved by drilling the rail (preferably
using the flow drill method), thread tapping or by using
rivet nuts.
SHOP FITTING ASSEMBLY
Shop fitters may prefer to use self-tapping or Tek screws
in order to facilitate a reduced installation time and we
recommend consultation with your preferred glass merchant
for advice on glass panel infill thicknesses and sizes.
